Brief Description of the key sector 1) in the province: Education is the essential sector to improve and develop human resources. To improve it Koh Kong has applied the 3rd Rectangular Strategy of Cambodian government. Brief Description of the key sector 2) in the province: Currently, Ministry of Health has improved the health care services and people health by enhancing the quality of health service. It is provided to the community and used of public services to reduce death, mother health care, baby and children service following the Ministry of Health policy. Brief Description of the key sector 3) in the province: Koh Kong is one of the four southwest provinces, Kompot, Keb, Preahsihanuk, and Koh Kong, of Cambodia. We can travel from national road 4 from Phnom Penh. We can travel across Kandal, Kompong Speu, and Preahsihanuk, and then to the Thai border, Chamyeam. Koh Kong’s geographical area is good because it is in the coastal area with 05 bridges across the sea. Those areas are the ecological systems including canal eco system, dolphin, and natural resources: mountains, water fall, river, island, beach with beautiful sands in all seasons. The tourist development is defined in the governmental rectangular strategy. It is one of the potential sectors which is developed in systematics. Brief Description of the key sector 4) in the province: Agriculture is one of the sectors which helps to develop the stable Cambodian economic and social work and poverty reduction especially in the rural area. Promoting agriculture's contribution and its sub sectors or sectors such as livestock raising, planting of crops, crops, permanent crops, industrial crops, fisheries and forestry as well as local products processing industries, especially promoting new technologies and training for farmers. Koh Kong has a family of 69.31% of the total rural households and 66.91% of rural households are the main agricultural enterprises, with 24.48% of households planting long-term crops, 4.03% of short-term crops, 2.86% vegetable production 1.82%, 3.67% |

Electricity: Electricity is under the control of the Department of Mines and Energy. In Koh Kong, there are three hydropower stations, including: - The Lower Stung Russey Chrum hydropower has a capacity of 338 megawatts In addition to the above hydroelectricity, the Ministry has studied 9 other hydropower sites in Thmor Bang and Mondul Seima district, which can total up to 820 megawatts. Department of Mines and Energy has been continuously developing the energy sector, especially in small hydroelectric power and renewable energy, to ensure efficient and affordable response to meet the demand, especially to provide investors with a broader scope to develop small hydropower and promote the development of high quality technology.
